I keep getting this error in the system.log:
can't access srvtab file /etc/srvtab: No such file or directory
google leads me to belive it's a kerberos thing, which makes me think it's a config thing
any ideas?
Thanks in Advance,
austin

It's nothing serious, I've seen it several times but it's not a regular item. Meaning that not everybody is having this error.
The solution:
Create an empty file called /etc/srvtab and the error does not appear any more.
I haven't found any other way to get rid of the message and this one works perfectly.
