    Hi, Richard
First of all congratulations for your initiative

Like you, I would install a basic mailserver OSX Snow without using OSX Server,
how to make a Automatic Mail redirection (Forward)
so I would not want to record my mails

if it is possible to do that ?
and before starting, what choice should he do Doveco or PostFix ?
    something else ?

    Thinks for help

Hi, Yes it is possible, I think you need to use sieve for that. I haven't touched it yet but I'm working on it. You can also use aliases. But I don't know what would be the purpose of the forwarding, if I know what you are trying to do I can give you some better advise.

You need Postfix and Dovecot. Postfix is the SMTP server (for receiving and sending mail). Dovecot is for authentication and IMAP/POP or better said to have a client app (like mail.app or thunderbird) connect to your server.

My idea is to Forward all emails received to my account gmail
I would consult with the webmail gmail of my other Mac
I do not need other services
    Thanks

    Why would you use gmail?

If you use IMAP, both macs can have the same mail and if you install roundcube you can have a great webmail app as well!

Roundcube can be found on http://www.roundcube.net/ and the installation is documented here. Spam control is also important, we use greylisting and dspam to manage that.

Please try it out, everythgin is documented and many have tried it before....
