Has a solution to this problem ever been discovered? I am having the exact same problem. I have a PHP log detailing the error, but I am not sure what is relevant (as it is 210 lines long). One snippet from the log says:

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x00007fff813fae98
Crashed Thread: 0

From research I have done, it appears as though this relates to an attempt by PHP to access memory it should not. However, I have no clue what would cause this, or how to fix it.

One thing I should note... I did not install Apache or PHP per the instructions on your site, as I am using this machine for email only. I am using the default Leopard Apache and PHP install.

Thanks for any assistance.

I remebered that I've seen it before but not on my own server. It must be something to do with the PHP installation I guess.

Have you got PHP logging turned on ? Please try to turn it on and also the error reporting. You'll have to do this in your php.ini, you can determine the location of your php.ini by looking at the output of the function phpinfo();

If you want me to have a more detailed look contact me via email on diymacserver at gmail.com

To recreate the error, I have fresh installation of 2.2.0 and attempt to add a super admin, but after i submit it provides the error.

This occurs in Safari/Webkit. I'm assuming this is a PHP error as opposed to anything else, but I haven't figured out what is causing it. The scripts seem to have issues once it gets as far as the mysql insertion, I think it may be a foreign key issue. The apache log does not provide anything helpful related to this erro...

As a side note, Firefox just returns and empty page.

The only thing google has returned is this: http://room34.com/archives/714
Their 'solution' doesn't work, though as i do not have zend compatibility turned on in the first place.

Any thoughts?

Not really, where does this error occur ? In the webbrowser as a PHP error ? What does our apache log tell you ?
